With Comparables.ai, exporting data and creating comprehensive reports is quick and easy. We offer automated Excel dashboards that help you present your analysis in a clear, intuitive format. Here's how to use them.
Step 1: Exporting Your Peer Group to Excel Once you're finished curating your peer group, you can export the entire dataset to Excel. Simply navigate to your peer group and click on the 'Export' button. This will bring up the data export popup.
Step 2: Selecting Your Template Options In the data export popup, you have three template options:
1. Benchmarking Template: This template is designed for comparing a company's key performance indicators (KPIs) with those of its peer group.
2. Daily Valuation Data: This template provides daily valuation data for each company in your peer group.
3. Valuation Dashboard: A comprehensive dashboard that provides a visualization of your peer group's valuation. Choose the template that fits your needs, and then click 'Export.'
Step 3: Navigating the Downloaded Excel File Your downloaded Excel file will contain different sheets, depending on the template you chose.
1. Output Sheet: This sheet includes all the additional selected financial items, providing a detailed financial overview of each company in your peer group.
2. Benchmarking Sheet: This sheet provides a clear, visual comparison of each company's key financials against its peers.
3. Trading Multiples Valuation Dashboard Sheet: This sheet provides a visual representation of the valuation of each company in your peer group, based on trading multiples.
4. Daily Valuation Data Sheet: If you chose the Daily Valuation Data template, this sheet would include daily valuation data for each company in your peer group.
5. WACC Calculation Sheet: This sheet includes the calculation of the Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC) for each company, providing critical information for investment analysis.
